YouTube Gaming has recently added Memberships Gifting after attracting many high-profile streamers to its platform. A feature that was previously only available on Twitch is now available on YouTube. Channel members will be able to purchase monthly channel memberships for other channel members.
Many popular streamers, from TimTheTatman to Valkyrae, have expressed their delight at YouTube’s recent addition.
TeamYouTube officially launched this feature on May 11th, 2022. Members who purchase Memberships Gifting not only gift the channel’s monthly membership to other members, but they also help the content creators financially. However, it is still in beta and only a few content creators have access to it. In the coming days, YouTube will continue to expand.
