Chapter 2 of Fortnite has been a mixed bag. The map is a bit of a letdown. The difficulties have become increasingly difficult.
However, we’ve had some successful seasons. The ‘Spy vs. Spy’ theme from Season 2 was entertaining. The Marvel superhero from Season 4 was fantastic. Not so much during the ‘Primal’ season. Give me a break with the most recent season’s dreadful punch card challenges.
We’ll learn more as time goes on. ‘The End’ is approaching. The Fortnite live event will begin at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT today and will last approximately 15 minutes. We’ll learn what happens to the island, how the new map arrives (via a black hole that lasted several days the last time, long before the COVID-19 pandemic even began), and what the Cube Queen has to do with it all during that time.
I’m looking forward to it. On Twitch, I’ll be playing and streaming the event live. You should log in about 30 minutes before the live-event ‘The End’ begins. Check out my stream or the stream of your favorite Fortnite ‘influencer’ if you can’t get into servers.
Make sure you join the special playlist for ‘The End,’ and then you can just chill in the game until things start to go down.
This concludes our conversation, lovely friend. The culmination of our elaborate plans. The end of everything that is still standing. The end. There is no safety or surprise.
I’m never going to look you in the eyes again.
After the live event, there will be some downtime. Following that, Chapter 3 will begin with the new map. I’m not sure when it will happen, but there will be some time between the event and the start of the new Chapter.
