iiTzTimmy‘s subathon has come to an end after nearly a month and more than 50,000 subscribers. While the streamer was still sleeping, the timer on his subathon clock hit zero this morning, during viewer media share hours.

Timmy’s mods changed the title of his stream to “FIN” because he couldn’t shut off his stream when the subathon timer hit zero because he was sleeping. Subscriptions no longer added time to the subathon clock after “DAY 29/29” appeared shortly after.

According to Timmy’s chat, the subathon timer was hacked, and subscriptions began to pour in as the clock approached zero.

Timmy decided to conduct a poll among his viewers, stating that if the vote was even remotely close, he would stop streaming. With only an 8% difference between those who thought the subathon should end and those who thought it should continue at the end of the poll, Timmy made the decision to call it a day.

Timmy originally planned to limit his subathon to one year, which would have put him well ahead of Ludwig‘s record-breaking subathon in 2020. Even for a streamer as entertaining as Timmy, a year proved to be far too ambitious. He finished his subathon with just over 59,000 subscribers. He started the subathon with fewer than 10,000 subs.

Timmy now has the fourth-highest Twitch subscriber count, according to TwitchTracker, thanks to the subathon. The Apex Legends and VALORANT streamer surpassed some of Twitch’s biggest names, including NICKMERCS, HasanAbi, and Ibai, in the final days of his subathon.

Timmy, ever the innovator, will almost certainly return with another self-imposed streaming challenge soon. Those who won’t be able to make it to the subathon can always look through Timmy’s VODs and various internet clips for some of the best moments from the previous month.

emilycc holds the record for the longest Twitch subathon, which is currently in progress. She’s been on the internet for 191 days.
