Based on Mike Majlak’s revelation, One of the most popular Twitch streamers, Ricky Bengston AKA FaZe Banks confirmed that a FaZe x OpTic collaboration is in the works.

FaZe Banks recently announced that two of the most popular North American esports organizations FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming, are now officially joining forces. The two organizations have had a long rivalry that dates back ten years ago and are now coming together for a merchandise release.

Many consider FaZe Clan and OpTic Gaming to be the pioneers of the Call of Duty community, and now, ten years later, they’ll be producing apparel together and putting their past competition aside.

This isn’t the first time the collaboration has been mentioned. While vlogging at the FaZe office last June, Mike Majlak unintentionally revealed some of the early mock-up designs, leaving fans waiting for the formal announcement.

In episode 49 of his podcast Mom’s Basement with Keemstar and finally made the announcement. FaZe Banks explained that they are doing an official collaboration with OpTic, FaZe is, and it’s really “fucking legendary”

According to Banks, the collaboration will feature some one-of-a-kind collective goods for each of the organizations’ founders. These one-of-a-kind products will reportedly all owe their existence back to the start, especially MW2, where both groups got their start.

We haven’t heard anything from OpTic yet, and as of now, no formal release date for the collaboration has been announced.

Regardless, we can expect the collaboration to go down in history when it is published, given these two groups have been regarded as competitors for almost a decade.
