Popular streamer Dr Disrespect has shed light on the current state of streaming, and what it takes to be on YouTube especially when it comes to ready-made audiences as he stated that if he wasn’t banned on Twitch, he would be gaining 100k viewers every stream.

Guy Beahm aka Dr Disrespect has become one of the most popular streamers on the planet alongside Shroud and Ninja. However, Doc got permanently banned from the platform last year without seemingly knowing what was the reason behind it.

Until now, the reason behind his ban was still unknown as Dr Disrespect himself claimed that he doesn’t know either and twitch wasn’t addressing anything about the ban. After getting banned, Doc made a move to Youtube to continue his streaming career and it was a huge success as he quickly managed to gain some massive followers.

Now, during his recent stream on Youtube, Doc discussed how easy it is to stream on Twitch compared with his time on YouTube and stated that it is not easy to be a streamer. Doc clarified that his team has to figure out the algorithm and work on several things before streaming on Youtube. These things certainly make matters worse, and it might also affect visibility then Doc took aim at fellow streamers on Twitch, and how they gather a much wider audience easily.

It is quite evident that Doc is not satisfied with the way things work on YouTube. He isn’t the only streamer who has raised his voice regarding changes that the platform needs in order to become more streaming-friendly. Earlier in the year, streamer and co-owner of 100Thieves, Valkyrae also shed light on things that YouTube needs to work on in order to attract more streamers.

Here’s what he said; “Like you don’t even have to try on Twitch, I am telling you right now, If we were on Twitch right now, we would have 100,000 people and if you want to equate that, if I were to do my math, I mean that’s, that’s basically 100 million inside the champions arena, you don’t even have to try.”
