Arab is a Lebanese-born immigrant descent who is proud of his ethnic heritage, even displaying the flag of his birth country on his wall during his streams. He began streaming in 2016 as a means to entertain others and to make them laugh and has steadily continued growing his follower base over the years. However, since Fortnite was released, it has remained his main game and he has become known for his fps and editing skills, as well as for his sense of humor. WHAT MONITOR DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 monitor. The BenQ ZOWIE XL2540 is a 24.5″ gaming monitor with a TN LCD display. It is capable of refreshing at up to 240Hz at a response time of 1ms (grey-to-grey.) It offers a maximum brightness of 400 cd/㎡ and has a pixel pitch of 0.28mm. Its stand allows for a lot of adjustability, as it can be tilted -5°~20°, swiveled -45°~45°, pivoted 90° and can be increased in height by up to 14cm (5.51”). It can also be dismounted for VESA-compatible (100x100mm) wall-mounting. It does not have any ult-in speakers.
It is also integrated with a plethora of useful technologies, including being both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync compatible (has GPU requirements), eye-protection technologies such as its Low Blue Light filter, as well as game-enhancing technologies like its Black eQualizer, Flicker-Free and Color Vibrance features. Its technologies are compatible with Windows 7 or later, so it may not work optimally with ither devices, especially if they haven’t the capacity to refresh at 240Hz.
WHAT MOUSE DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. Arab uses the pink edition of the Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse, which is no longer in production. We will therefore be discussing the current version instead. The wireless version of the Logitech G Pro has an ergonomic, truly ambidextrous design that allows the user to add or remove two side buttons to either side of the mouse. This enables them to opt for either 4, 6 or 8 macro buttons. These can then accommodate up to 5 onboard profiles.
It was recently upgraded to with a Hero 25K which allows for a DPI range of 100 – 25,600. This can be set in increments of 50 through the G HUB software with the option of storing up to 6 DPI profiles onboard. It further offers a maximum acceleration of 50G at a maximum speed of up to 400 IPS. It also has a 48 hour battery life and 1-zone LIGHTSYNC RGB capabilities. It is compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.11 or later, and Chrome OS. It weighs 79g (2.7oz.)
WHAT MOUSEPAD DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a Glorious XXL Extended mousepad. The Glorious XXL Extended is a cloth mousepad whose anti-fray stitching attaches it to its non-slip rubber base. It has dimensions of 45.7 x 91.4 x 0.3cm (18 x 36 x 0.12”) that is large enough to comfortably fit both a mouse and keyboard. As added bonuses, it is machine-washable and can also be rolled up for easy transportation.
WHAT KEYBOARD DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a Razer Huntsman Mini 60% keyboard. The Razer Hunstman Mini is a super-compact 60% wired keyboard that is constructed from aluminum covered in plastic and soldered with opto-mechanical switches and topped double-shot PBT keycaps. Arab hasn’t specified whether he went with the Raze Optical Red or Purple switches. The PBT keycaps are side-printed with secondary functions, including the missing F-keys and multimedia controls.
Its Razer Synapse 3 software allows for the implementation of its Razer Hypershift functionality. This enables on-the-fly macro remapping and saving directly onboard the keyboard. Additionally, the profiles will automatically be stored on the cloud as well. Furthermore, Razer Synapse 3 is also pre-programmed with profiles for over 150-games, including Fortnite, CS:GO, Apex Legends, and Warframe. It is compatible with Windows 7 and later and has dimensions of 10.34 x 29.36 x 3.68cm (4.07 x 11.56 x 1.45″.)
WHAT HEADSET DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO (250 OHM) headphones. Arab’s gaming setup includes the grey version of the studio-grade Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO headphones that have a nominal impedance of 250Ω. They are dynamic headphones that are intended for professional end devices. Their 45mm drivers offer a frequency response range of 5 – 35,000Hz at a maximum SPL of 96dB. This helps to produce a clear stereo sound effect, including panning, tracks and audio effects.
They are constructed mainly from plastic with metal hinges. The open-backed earcups are cushioned with soft velour-covered padding. They are also fairly delicate and do not rotate, so you will need to be careful with them during transportation. They are compatible with PC, Mac, Xbox and PS4 devices and have a 3.5m (9.8ft) tangle-free cord that terminates in a 3.5mm mini-jack. They weigh around 294.84g (0.65lbs).
WHAT MICROPHONE DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a Shure SM7B microphone. Arab’s gaming setup includes the Shure SM7B, which is among the most popular microphones used by streamers. Some other users include AnneMunition, LVNDMARK and Loeya, among others. It has a sturdy construction comprising of enamel aluminum and steel a case and offers a frequency response range of 50 – 20,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 150Ω and a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa. This combination enables it to produce a clean and natural reproduction of speech and music recordings.
Additionally, it has a cardioid polar pattern that operates at an end address. This creates a noise-canceling effect by only focusing on frontal inputs. It also comes with an external foam windscreen, in addition to its internal pop-filter and shock mount. There is also a high-pass filter switch and presence boost button located on its base. It also comes with a locking yoke mount. However, you will need you own audio interface and XLR cable. The device does not require phantom power.
WHAT WEBCAM DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a Sony a6400 camera with a Sigma 16mm lens. The Sony Alpha a6400 is an entry-level professional mirrorless camera that is intended both for photography and video recordings. Its 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor provides an ISO range of 100 – 32,000 with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p at 60fps. The ISO range can be up to 102,400 by means of a Sony E-mount compatible lens. One of its significant features include its real-time eye-tracking autofocus with 425 phase-detection points capability which help to track rapid motion clearly during recordings.
It also has a 180°-rotatable LCD touchscreen that is useful for IRL content creators who want to record commentaries while on-the-move. Its Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi capabilities also enable the user to transfer recordings directly to their mobile devices so as to share on social media. It is important to note that it has a battery life that can last between 360 – 410 photos or 125 mins of continuous recording. It can also be used to record while plugged in. WHAT MIXER DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a TC-Helicon GoXLR mixer. The TC Helicon GoXLR mixer is another popular piece of equipment that appears in Arab’s gaming setup, with other users including Sacriel, Aydan and Danucd. It is a pretty compact 4-channel mixer that is designed for solo use. As such, it can input one XLR or TS/TRS/TRRS headset and one microphone to be connected at a time. The four channels are dedicated to Mic, Music, Chat and System controls, with each having its own volume slider and mute button. The right half of the mixer features various audio and voice effect options.
The top right section boasts several preset audio effects such as Reverb, Robot and Gender-bending, and also allows for six buttons to be programmed with other effects through its software. The RGB lighting effects can also be set through its software. Then, the lower half of the right side comprises of a voice sampler on the left for on-the-fly effects, while the right corner features a bleep and mute button to enable damage control during live recordings.
WHAT PreAmp DOES ARAB USE?
Arab uses a FiiO E10K headphone amplifier. The FiiO E10K is designed to enhance the user’s laptop audio output quality and features both a bass boos and low pass filter knob to further lower the noise floor. It is capable of processing a frequency response range of 0 – 20,000Hz at a nominal impedance of 32Ω and a headphone impedance of 16 – 150Ω. It is constructed from a durable brushed aluminum shell to allow for portability.
