Keeoh

His original Twitter handle was Keeoh3 (pronounced Kay-Oh-3). ‘Keeoh’ means ‘Joey’ in Hawaiian, which is what his Hawaiian grandparents called him while he was growing up.

Keeoh was introduce to video games by his older brother. He used to enjoy watching him playing because he was better than him. The first device that he played on was a Nintendo 64, with his first games being Mario 64 and Mario Kart. RuneScape was his favorite game while he was growing up. When he was older, he got into shooters such as Halo 4, Halo: Reach and CoD: Modern Warfare 2. Similarly, he swam for six years, but decided to go for something more challenging after his brother joined the water polo team. He felt that that was too much for him, so he chose springboard diving instead because he enjoyed watching that category in the Olympics.

During high school, he competed on his high school springboard diving team and managed to get a college scholarship from it. He went on to attend California Polytechnic State University in San Luis as a Computer Science major, but dropped out dropped right after completing his freshman year to attempt streaming.

During college he competed in, and won, national diving championships. He did springboard diving for about ten years before he stopped. His parents were supportive of his taking a year off, since he wasn’t enjoying his courses. His dad even bought him a graphics card as an early birthday present when his broke early into the year.

Back when he was playing Overwatch, he promised himself that if he made it to Grandmaster, he would get rid of his poor computer and buy a new one to start streaming on, which is exactly what he did. This was back in April 2017. He was inspired to start streaming by a variety of streamers, including TimTheTatman, Shroud, DrLupo and B0aty, among others.

He started uploading Fortnite content to his YouTube channel on September 2, 2017. What really got his channel growing was when he was hosted by TimTheTatman for 20,000 viewers. He went fulltime in mid-2018. He then joined Cloud9 in August 2018 as a content creator after posting a TSM video application to Reddit, which gained over 34,000 upvotes. Although he got offers from many orgs, he opted for Cloud9 because even though they offered him a spot as a professional Fortnite player, they were ok with him sticking with content creation.

He started playing Valorant during its closed beta, and soon made it his new main, because he hadn’t been enjoying Fortnite for a while and was looking for something to replace it with. He managed to hit immortal on the very last day of the beta.

He keeps his language clean.

According to Keeoh’s Twitch chat bot, he has over 2,050 subscribers. This amount excludes additional income that he might derive from tiered subscriptions, sponsorships, tips, Twitch cheer bit contributions, team salary, merchandise sales, advertisements, and tournament earnings.
