Twitch streamer William Neff aka WillNeff recently received his second ban from the platform on July 17th revealing some details about his ban on his recent twitter posts, stating that twitch banned him without warning.

Will is a pretty big streamer on Twitch, having first set up his channel in 2016 after some pushing from friend HasanAbi, and since then they’ve both grown and blown up in their own ways and become staples of the platform.

This is not the first time that he got banned from twitch as back in May, his squeaky-clean record on Twitch was tainted as he received a bizarre DMCA ban. Now that he got his second ban from the platform, it turns out he got a lot to say about this as he posted a series of tweets addressing the reason for the ban. In his tweet, he said that the reason behind his ban was ‘aiding account suspension evasion’ while he was listening to Youtuber Mr Wobbles’ music on his stream.

Mr. Wobbles is a YouTuber who covers songs. However, he is banned on Twitch which only means that streamers cannot interact with him in any form while live on the platform. Regardless, Will further explained that the ban happened without a warning and that he wished that Twitch Support had reached out to him before going nuclear.

In his second twitter post, he discussed the bright side of the ban as he wrote; “I think this case will at least create an interesting discussion about perma bans and creating content with creators outside of twitch and the responsibility of individual creators to self screen their content without warning.” He also urged fans to not “flame” or “troll” Twitch staff over the decision.
