In the ongoing battle between Twitch and YouTube for live streaming platform supremacy, LilyPichu is the most recent of numerous streamers to leave Twitch and sign deals with YouTube.

The streamer will leave the platform after ten years and her impressive 2.5M followers behind to stream only on YouTube, but despite her lengthy relationship with Twitch, Lilypichu claimed that making the choice was simple.

On July 8, the OfflineTV member gave her first YouTube stream and gave some background on why she decided to move over. Lily’s situation is a little bit different from that of other streamers in her position who were persuaded to switch due to a lack of effort on Twitch’s part.

We’ve quickly discovered that when it comes to offering exclusive contracts to streamers, nothing is off the table for YouTube.

Top Twitch stars have left in the past year, so we shouldn’t anticipate Lily to be the last streamer to sign a deal with YouTube either, but only time will reveal who will come after.
