He and his wife have a daughter, as well as a guinea pig and a cat. His parents are supportive of his career choice. He also has a brother.

happyf333tz first started playing dance games in 1998, with his first being Dance Dance Revolution on the PlayStation 1. He discovered it at his local video game store and begged his mom to buy it for him. Soon his older sister and friends began playing it with him in their spare time, and he has been in love with them ever since. He also started attending tournaments, mainly to watch other competitors more than trying to win himself.

In his teens, he started playing FPS games such as Halo CE, Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike in the early 2000s. He later got into Overwatch soon after it released. He later moved on to DDR 2013, followed by other games.

He first began uploading dance gaming content to his YouTube channel in February 2010, but only started streaming on Twitch in April 2017. His YouTube channel still primarily focuses on dance gaming videos, but his Twitch channel became more diverse when he decided to start streaming Sea of Thieves content as well, soon after the game released in March 2018. He has continued streaming both rhythm games and SOT since then.
