Gaming Origins
FreeMasonLive was introduced to podcasts by his friend who was trying to teach him to play Magic the Gathering. His friend put on a podcast to listen to in the background, and FreeMasonLive found himself more interested in the podcast then the game. Even though he had always been a quiet person, he loved the idea of going into podcast creation, and even bought an Audio Technica microphone for it. As he searched for other forms of content on YouTube, he discovered gaming channels, and from there Twitch.
Professional Gaming
He first started streaming on November 23, 2017, and was only able to stream for 2 ½ hours per session. He was inspired to attempt it after watching bug streamers like TimTheTatman, DrDisrespect and Summit1G’s content for a while and thinking that the chat engagement aspect of it looked like fun.. As he himself discovered streaming and Twitch through YouTube, he tried uploading every now and then, but only really got into it in 2020. He started out as a variety fps streamer, but it was slow going for him for the first few years. His big break came for him when he started streaming Sea of Thieves and his numbers started to grow.
In October 2019, he finally reached 1,000 followers. He officially became a fulltime streamer on May 18, 2020. However, in late 2020, he decided to stream variety content while mainly playing Sea of Thieves when there were major updates, as he felt that the was receiving to much negativity from his chat during his gameplay otherwise.
