Parth Naidu, TSM’s General Manager of League of Legends Operations, announced that after more than seven years with the company, Monday will be his last day.
Parth has held a variety of roles within the organization since joining as an analyst in 2014, including that of head coach. Parth led TSM to four League of Legends Championship Series titles and one Rift Rivals victory in 2017 while coaching the team in 2016, 2017, and 2020.
Parth prioritized player scouting and talent development as the general manager of TSM’s League of Legends program. TSM’s talent development initiatives, such as the TSM Academy and TSM Junior programs, as well as the TSM Scouting Combine, all benefited from Parth’s efforts. Parth published a 52-page article on player development on Jan. 6 that detailed his thoughts and findings.
Parth is the second long-serving TSM employee to announce his or her departure in recent months. Leena Xu, the former TSM President of Esports, announced on Twitch on Nov. 20 that she would be stepping down and joining OfflineTV.
Max Olivo, the former TSM Art Director and creator of TSM: Legends, announced on January 24 that he would be leaving the company after a seven-year run to take on a new role with OfflineTV.
In recent months, TSM has lost more than just veteran employees. Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, a former star TSM mid laner, announced his signing with Team Liquid on November 24th, after eight years with TSM. Ali “Myth” Kabbani, a popular Twitch streamer and content creator, announced on Dec. 27 that he would not re-sign with TSM after three years with the organization.
