Deep Dip, a tower-structured, multi-level TrackMania map, was finally finished by 23-year-old Norwegian Twitch streamer and esports competitor yvind “Wirtual” after much anticipation.

The lack of checkpoints on the map, which prevents players from saving their progress, makes it the most difficult aspect of the game.

Wirtual is an experienced TrackMania competitor who has taken part in several tournaments and had the chance to commentate on some of the most prestigious TrackMania events. The lack of checkpoints on the Deep Dip map, as previously mentioned, makes it difficult. Players that accidentally drop from one level to another are likely to fall multiple levels, wiping off their progress. The 15 floors on the map were constructed by various mappers. This contains distinctive voice lines, Easter eggs, and “deeper dips” that imply longer falls. The game “Getting Over It,” which has been called one of the hardest and most punishing in recent memory, is also alluded to on the map.

Wirtual declared at the beginning of the map that it would be one of his most difficult assignments to date. He stated: “This thing could take me weeks to finish. It looks daunting, it looks terrifying because it’s even more punishing than it looks like.”

He also showed an illustration of a fall from one of the higher floors on the map, showing the automobile descending several levels and undoing all of the player’s previous progress.
