The Twitch streamer boxing match that the internet has been waiting for could finally happen. NickMercs has announced a UFC collaboration with the main event “Battle of the Ages,” which will air live on Friday, July 1st from UFC X (a.k.a. the Vegas Convention Center South Hall in Las Vegas, Nevada). It most prominently promotes a “fight” between him and TimTheTatman.

The UFC collaboration between NickMercs and TimTheTatman was revealed slowly. Even NickMercs and TimTheTatman aren’t certain they’ll be the only streamers involved. Nick teased the UFC collaboration on June 10 by posting a promotional image of boxing gloves with the date “July 1” bolded at the bottom. He tweeted another teaser the next day, confirming the event.

The MFAM link in the promotional tweet takes you to a page with NickMercs and TimTheTatman on a promotional banner next to each other. It specifies that the event will take place on July 1 at 11 a.m. during International Fight Week. PT.

Tickets are now on sale, though there isn’t a separate option to purchase tickets for just the NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman “fight,” implying that they’ll be part of the larger UFC X event on July 1 and 2.

NickMercs and TimTheTatman haven’t specified whether the “Battle of the Ages” is a real-life fight. In the streaming community, challenging each other to boxing matches has become a running joke. Nobody has officially entered the ring except Logan Paul, who fought professional boxer Floyd Mayweather in a highly publicized and controversial bout.
