Shroud, a Twitch star, had a serious tech issue when his feed abruptly faded out, and he confessed that his power supply had exploded while grinding New World.

Recently, Shroud’s Twitch fans were watching a New World stream when it abruptly ended. When the streamer returned, he explained that the disruption was caused by an explosion in his uninterruptible power supply (or UPS).

The streamer quickly returned to the game and his fellow players, and he appeared to be in high spirits about the whole affair, saying that he was afraid “but it was cool.”

Unfortunately, Shroud’s return was cut short due to power outages, which prompted him to cease streaming for the remainder of the night. The streamer also addressed the problem on Twitter.

He wrote; “Trying to figure out my power issue after the surge last night. May or may not stream tonight…. one things for sure though the grind for new world don’t STOP”.

Although not many streamers have been impressed by New World, Shroud has clearly been a great fan of the game since its release, dedicating a large amount of time to it. The streamer has discussed several of the game’s flaws, including its user interface and the lack of catch-up features for people with limited time. However, none of these factors, nor the recent incident, have been enough to keep him away from “the grind.” In reality, Shroud’s statement was followed by a Tweet from Hannah “Bnans” Kenney, Shroud’s girlfriend and fellow Twitch streamer, who replied “saved” alongside a photo of a Battery Back-UPS.
