Popular Twitch streamers have been trying to air one other’s bad laundry for the past week, and while many creators have sought to avoid the drama, it has been challenging to do so.

One of the most popular variety streamers on the internet, LIRIK, refrained from making any comments about the negativity up until today, when he finally broke his silence on stream and expressed what many people have been thinking. He said; “It’s exhausting and stupid. It reminds me of a bunch of people who have done shit things trying to talk to each other about who’s done shittier things, while trying to save themselves. So it’s like a piece of shit talking to a piece of shit about how their shit stinks more.”

Following the popularity of the Just Chatting category on Twitch, the act of “farming drama” has become a more common practice among the platform’s top personalities in recent years. It has occasionally been difficult to distinguish between what is actual and what is “content” because to streamers playing up or even manufacturing interpersonal conflicts in order to provide captivating content. However, this week’s “farming of drama” shifted to serious accusations and finger-pointing among numerous well-known creators after Trainwreck stated that Mizkif had covered up an instance of suspected sexual assault.

Even though LIRIK hasn’t personally been involved in any of these problems, he seems to think that the current levels of volatility will further reinforce what he considers to be bad behavior.

He said; “People online eat it up because they also like eating shit. It’s a lose-lose-lose, which then equates to a win because when they go live they get triple or quadruple the viewership because, at the end of the day, there’s no actual giving of a fuck.”
