British streamer “Greekgodx” has Greek ancestry, hence the name, and has recently made headlines for his divisive opinions and outlandish antics. A few weeks ago, he was banned from Twitch for allegedly twerking while streaming.

He went on a few bizarre rants in the same stream, made comments about what he expected from a woman in a relationship, and even made offensive remarks about other streamers like Mizkif. Many have called his comments sexist and regressive, sparking a firestorm of criticism on social media.

Additionally, Greekgodx and HasanAbi got into a public argument after the latter harshly criticized him for being an anti-vaxxer. Greekgodx raised questions by promoting conspiracies like the flat Earth theory and how the USA faked the moon landing on several livestreams with a variety of streamers, including xQc and Asmongold.

Greekgodx started his career as a stream sniper, shooting at popular streamers like Sodapoppin and Tyler1, who were once among the most well-known streamers on the platform. He was focused on becoming a Twitch streamer after his initial Minecraft channel was a failure.

When Tyler1 offered him the chance to play, that was his big break. Tyler was constantly pursued by Dimitri, a notorious stream sniper, while he played H1Z1. He invited Greekgodx to play the game in the latter part of 2016, and the neighborhood admired their chemistry.

The dynamic duo was a smash hit, and the two gamers quickly grew close. Greekgodx gained recognition in the streaming community and had a sizable fan base when he finally made his debut in April 2017. With about 30k viewers watching at once, his first stream broke records.

Old-school Twitch fans still recall his tears when he first met Tyler1 at TwitchCon in 2017. However, their relationship suffered greatly when Tyler1 decided to leave his friend behind and return to streaming League of Legends in January 2018. Greekgodx joined TSM and concentrated on his variety of streams, widening the gap.

The British streamer attracted attention in the streaming community in 2019 by drastically losing weight. While many of his friends delighted in his transformation, the community as a whole also noticed a change in his attitude as a result of the weight loss. It turns out that the streamer had begun to consume a lot of content created by the infamous Andrew Tate.

Tate is infamous for his regressive and excessively masculinist views on women. Tate’s influence on Greekgodx was recently discussed by xQc and TrainwrecksTV, who attributed the streamer’s recent divisive opinions and Twitch ban to Tate, because of his contentious opinions, it is understandable why some streamers have cut ties with the British streamer.

Many members of the gaming community were offended by his recent controversial views on women and how they should only serve as caregivers in a relationship. Additionally, he has appeared on numerous streams to spread anti-science conspiracies, such as the idea that the Earth is flat and the idea that he is no longer in need of medical care.

Many people believe that the streamer is not really sincere in his recent rants and that he is simply using drama to attract attention with shock value due to his declining viewership numbers. But it appears to be functioning. His viewership has reportedly started to increase once more, with Twitch Tracker reporting a nearly doubling of his average viewership over the past three months.
