TSM is once again in the spotlight. Due to “very serious allegations of conflict of interest and unethical practices,” the organization fired Peter Zhang, the LCS head of player development and coach for the League of Legends team, on March 18th.

Peter Zhang was reportedly accepting money in exchange for ensuring that certain Taiwanese or Chinese players were added to the roster, and was attempting to raise $80,000 to pay former TSM supporter Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh.

In a recent Twitch stream, Doublelift, another former TSM player, shared his thoughts on the topic.

Zhang had also asked Doublelift for money, which was supposed to cover the coach’s grandparent’s cancer treatment, according to Doublelift.

This was also mentioned, explaining why Zhang kept the money from SwordArt’s car sale to pay for his grandmother’s surgery.

After Zhang’s initial request, Doublelift inquired of others to see if the former TSM coach had contacted them as well. Despite the fact that Doublelift does not have all of the facts, he has heard some concerning rumors about Peter Zhang.
