Organization.gg has launched a new fundraising initiative called #StreamersWithUkraine, which aims to raise money for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. Several well-known Dota streamers have joined the cause in order to raise funds.

Ukraine has one of the largest Dota player populations on the planet, and several teams and players have been vocal about the issue since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began. #StreamersWithUkraine is collaborating with WePlay, one of the largest tournament organizers on the Dota Pro Circuit. They most recently ran the GALAXY GAMERS: Dota 2 Invitational Series Dubai and the Kyiv AniMajor last year.

Several Dota personalities have boycotted events organized by Russian organizers in recent months. Most notably, any event involving ESFORCE Holding, a holding company controlled by Emin Antonyan, a Russian oligarch who backed the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

OG co-owner Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and ex-pro player Danil “Dendi” Ishutin are the two people expected to join the initiative. Dendi is a Ukrainian citizen who lives in Kyiv. Their stream will begin at 5 a.m. on April 5, 2022. Dendi’s Twitch channel will be live at 10 a.m. EST.

Another Dota streamer has agreed to participate in the initiative. Mihai “canceL” Antonio, a Romanian Dota content creator, is also planning to run his own charity stream. He is best known for his 2016 runs with team Complexity, and he has been a long-time Dota streamer.

Content creators and streamers from other games, such as arosaw “pashaBiceps” Jarzbkowski, Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, and Michael “THINND” McMahon, have joined the fray as part of the initiative.

Every stream in the initiative will promote the same donation link, which will go to Razom and Nova Ukraine, two US-registered nonprofits that help Ukrainians.

Organization.gg has stated that their role is to simply set up the streams and that they will not take any commissions on donations.
