A popular Twitch streamer, and speedrunner Distortion2, set a new world record for Elden Ring earlier today when he beat the game in two hours and four minutes. To set numerous speed run records, Distortion2 experimented with and mastered various techniques and mechanics present in the game.

He recently broke the current world record by ten seconds, leaving him only 15 minutes to submit his record.

Distortion2 set out to complete the “All Remembrance” feat at Rune Level 1, which required him to kill and collect the souls of the game’s major bosses.

Distortion2 successfully defeated the game’s final boss in the eighth hour of his most recent livestream. He killed Elden Beast as soon as he could.

Fans in the Twitch chat were unable to contain their joy, as were Distortion2’s fans, who showered the streamer with free subscriptions and a slew of positive messages.

Distortion2’s partner revealed in the background that she had been watching his speed run on her stream and was pleased to see him achieve such a significant goal. The speed runner calmed down in order to complete some final paperwork before submitting the speed run. He was about to exit the game for the final time to show off his final in-game time.

During the same stream, the speed runner continued to celebrate with his fans for a few more minutes before submitting his record.

Reddit users were astounded to see how flawlessly the Twitch streamer set a speed run record. Many of them referred to him as a “god gamer,” and fans were curious as to who came in second.

Distortion2, a Twitch streamer, is one of the most well-known speed-running personalities on the platform, having beaten the Soulsborne genre using unique and amazing techniques.

In the Any Unrestricted Speed run category, he was one of the first people in the gaming world to beat the highly acclaimed FromSoftware title in under seven minutes, using a special technique called “The Zip.”

A month later, the Twitch streamer broke another world record, this time without the use of any glitches or special speed running techniques.
