Gaming Origins
Nokokopuffs grew up playing video games. This was encouraged by his dad who bought he and his brothers their own PCs to play on. After high school, he went on to work at various jobs in the service industry, including Hollister, GameStop, C&S Warehouse and Verizon Wireless.
During his time at Verizon Wireless, on of his Twitch mods recommended that he try out Apex Legends. He was very reluctant at first, because he had had negative experiences with Fortnite. However, he was bored one night at decided to try it out and wound up playing for fifteen hours straight. He even took off work the next day because of it. He has been in love with it ever since.
Professional Gaming
He was inspired to become a streamer after going to PAX Est and seeing the support that TimTheTatman was getting from his community and wanting to build a similar community for himself. So, he started grinding in October 2012. However, it was slow going. In fact, it was only when he decided to try out Apex Legends that his channel started seeing real growth. So much so, that he was finally able to quit his job to pursue full time content creation in April 2019. He was signed on with CLG a month later and remained with them until August 2020. He switched from streaming on Twitch to YouTube Gaming in July 2021. He signed with TSM in October 2021.
