Emicida’s show will be in two parts for 72 hours, beginning on April 29th at 6 p.m. ET. The Soundwave Series includes an interactive element in each show. Gen Hoshino, a Japanese pop singer and music producer, and Aya Nakamura, a French-Malian singer, are two upcoming experiences for later this year.
Bert Builds, Paradox Builds, and Zen Creative created Emicida’s interactive Soundwave experience in Fortnite. Fans will learn about Emicida’s life and how it has influenced his music through this experience. The setlist features some of the Brazilian rapper’s biggest hits and tells the story of his upbringing in So Paulo, Brazil, as well as his journey to becoming one of the country’s biggest rappers.
Starting on April 29th at 6 p.m. ET, players can join by selecting the ‘Soundwave Series: Emicida’ tile and it will air nonstop for 72 hours, starting on Monday, May 2 at 6 p.m. ET Players who complete the adventure will receive XP and a spray to use as a memento in-game.
Players will also receive the Keep Going Lobby Track and the Triumphant Emote as part of the experience. The Fortnite Item Shop will have these two items available a day before the experience goes live.
Epic Games has included a special message for Twitch and other streaming platform content creators. Support-A-Creator creators can monetize VOD content from their show by hosting it on YouTube. There are specific guidelines for how long YouTube content can be monetized.
Twitch streamers should disable VODs and clips for the show, according to Epic Games.
