xQc’s viewers are probably aware that English isn’t his native tongue. Quebec, a Canadian province where French is the official language, is home to a well-known streamer. Even the “Qc” in his name, which stands for Quebec, shows how proud he is of his native province.

The Swedish streamer revealed to xQc that he had been learning French with Duolingo while playing Fall Guys with NymN. Felix complimented him before making fun of NymN for stressing every other syllable excessively.

After the game’s recent title update, the former Overwatch pro returned to Fall Guys, which saw the game launch on Xbox and Switch and turn into a free-to-play title. The most recent updates have significantly increased the game’s popularity, though not quite the levels it reached after its launch in 2020.

During a recent livestream, Swedish streamer NymN joined him as well. He revealed to Felix that he has been learning French with the help of the language-learning app Duolingo. He wanted to impress a native French speaker by demonstrating his fluency in the language.

The town of Laval is where xQc is from. Quebec is a province in Canada that speaks French. Even though he mainly uses English on his stream, he is fluent in French and hasn’t been afraid to brag about his home province. He appeared to prepare himself for NymN’s attempt to speak French by bracing himself. He listened to him speak and offered the Swedish streamer some constructive criticism.

NymN’s overall pronunciation and sentence structure were acceptable, but xQc commented that NymN was overemphasizing some syllables, which revealed that he is not a fluent French speaker. NymN asked him to elaborate on his constructive criticism by defining what he meant by “capital letters.”

In response, xQc started making fun of his attempts to speak French by shouting and speaking slowly while putting too much emphasis on each syllable. He did tell NymN after the teasing that his French would be passable if he worked on the focus in his pronunciations. He may not have enjoyed the mockery, but he did value the constructive criticism.

Despite the fact that he was critical of NymN, the latter probably valued the advice xQc did give him. One commenter noted that if NymN spoke German, his excessive emphasis on each syllable would sound more natural. Another viewer pointed out that the Canadian streamer speaks English with the same habit.

xQc may not be the most effective language teacher, but he did give NymN and the viewers some helpful tips on speaking French.
