xQc recently responded by explaining why he felt compelled to criticize Andrew Tate’s sexist and misogynistic comments.

Former kickboxing champion-turned-internet icon Andrew Tate’s sexist and misogynistic views were disproved on July 14, 2022, by Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel after they became popular for all the wrong reasons online.

After the pointless argument, xQc, who opposed Tate’s “anti-women” tirades, elaborated on his motivations for supporting women and for watching Adin Ross‘ live stream in the first place.

On July 15, 2022, xQc stated during a live Twitch stream that the situation was chaotic and that he needed to push himself further and take part in the conversation, and went on to say that if they could not disprove him, they would not be able to question his thoughts. The issue with those who speak with Andrew Tate is that they don’t disagree with his viewpoints. They don’t conflict with his convictions. They simply nod and say, “Yeah,” without saying anything else.

The streamer went on to elaborate, saying that Tate needed to clarify his views before letting them slide during the stream. In his declaration, he emphasized how crucial it was to determine whether Tate intended his statements in any other way. This is primarily because the influential former kickboxer made some egregiously sexist comments about women.

Before jumping to conclusions or allowing the general public to support Tate and sharpen pitchforks, xQc wanted to learn more about Tate’s perspective in this regard. Even though the speech was delivered with the best of intentions and a lighthearted attitude, it may not always have been received as such.

Many people may interpret explicit or extremely harsh takes in different ways, especially when they relate to viewpoints against protected groups (race, gender, religion, etc.). In extreme instances, it may serve as a rallying cry for those who support abhorrent and hateful forms of discrimination like sexism, racism, or homophobia.

This sentiment is especially significant in light of the fact that Twitch is a platform where millions of people assemble to watch what is, in many ways, extremely compelling content. In addition, many Twitch viewers are minors, so it makes sense why xQc didn’t want sexism to continue on the site.

Although xQc didn’t always express himself clearly, his willingness to stand up against Tate’s sexist beliefs and even give him the opportunity to do so in the hopes that he might have meant what he said differently demonstrates his righteous nature.
