Twitch star Felix Lengyel aka xQc slams some twitch fans who were claiming that the popular twitch streamer Tyler Blevins aka Ninja has “fallen off” stating that Ninja was doing just fine despite his recent stats.
Twitch streamer Ninja is one of the biggest streamers in the world. He is the most followed streamer on Twitch gaining more than 16.9 million followers. Back in the year 2018 and 2019, Ninja has managed to average over 100,000 viewers a stream for playing Fortnite. At his peak, he was playing Fortnite with Drake and sporting the highest subscriber count on all of Twitch at 250,000 subs.
Ninja made his name through Fortnite, as he was the biggest streamer for the title when it exploded into the huge hit it is today. However, in the past few months, Ninja has barely managed to rake in 10,000 average viewers. While some twitch fans claimed that Ninja has “fallen off”, Twitch streamer xQc thinks the opposite.
During xQc’s August 17th live broadcast, xQc watched a youtube video titled; Ninja’s “toxic rise and fall”. In response to this, xQc stated that he doesn’t like people who are “analytics Andy” trying to use statistics.
Here’s what he said; “This is why I don’t like when people who are ‘analytic Andy’ try to use statistics. If they were really to go about the statistics of it, you’d have to make a comparison of the popularity of Fortnite on YouTube and Twitch, popularity of Mixer, and their decline ratios. Now all he does is project his stats and say it’s his failure and his lack of success where there’s a lot of things around it that are super tangible”. In xQc’s eyes, calling Ninja a Twitch failure now is “just not it.” Ninja might not be the biggest streamer on Twitch anymore, but his legacy will live on forever.
