Due to a jaw condition with which YouTube star Valkyrae was recently diagnosed, she has updated her fans on her upcoming broadcasts.

Rachell Hofstetter AKA Valkyrae is without a doubt one of the most well-known streamers in the gaming world right now. She started out on Twitch but later in 2020 she signed an exclusive streaming deal with another streaming platform YouTube and has since become one of the most popular women in online broadcasting.

However, being a top-tier steamer isn’t always the glamorous job as it appears to be. Valkyrae has to balance her physical health with her busy streaming schedule and also dealing with stalkers and pushy fans is indeed a massive overload workload.

Valkyrae revealed last August 31st that due to a condition she was recently diagnosed with called temporomandibular joint dysfunction of the jaw, her upcoming streams may be shorter and she may not be talking as much as she used to before.

TMJ or Temporomandibular Joint Disorder causes jaw joint pain, difficulty in chewing and clicking or locking of the joint in the jaw.

Understandably, this makes talking difficult, which is why Valkyrae has warned her fans that she may not speak as much in her future stream until the problems are resolved.

Thankfully, her fans and fellow streamers were quick to her support – but this isn’t the first time Valkyrae’s health issues have caused her stream to be interrupted recently.

She informed her fans in June that she would be cancelling an upcoming stream due to what she believed to be appendicitis but unfortunately, it turns out that she was actually suffering from pain due to ovarian cyst and described her experience as “traumatizing.”

For the time being, we wish Valkyrae the best as she recovers from her jaw problem.
