The non-profit organization Rise Above The Disorder (@YouAreRAD) and Twitch streamer Tyler Trainwreckstv have partnered, and he has donated $350,000 to make the first 12,000 sessions free.

The tweet announcing the initiative to offer free mental healthcare to the community was well received, and several well-known streaming personalities praised the streamer for taking the initiative.

As was to be expected, the Twitch content creator’s charitable endeavor gained a lot of attention on Twitter, and prominent figures like HealthyGamerGG, Nemsko, and Ovilee May were visible in the reply section.

Kory “Symbolic” Arruda, talent manager for Team Liquid, had this to say, and Jake Lucky, an esports personality, explained the program’s specifics and thanked Tyler for contributing $350,000 to the cause.

On his official Twitter account earlier today, Trainwreckstv posted a TwitLonger update that extensively described the operation of the initiative. One of the main components of the initiative is the “Community Care” program. It will make it possible for members of the community to begin therapy sessions with the assistance of duly qualified mental health professionals.

One of the Discord bots will connect community members with Rise Above The Disorder NGO staff after receiving a direct message from a viewer requesting to join the program.

The cost of a therapy session ranges from $35 to $75 on average, but the first 12,000 sessions are provided free of charge thanks to a $350,000 donation from Trainwreckstv. The article continues by discussing the typical cost that a person would incur in the absence of the streamer’s donation. For those without insurance, Rise Above The Disorder will help pay for therapy sessions.

The Twitch streamer has previously contributed sizeable sums of money to charitable causes.

Trainwreckstv revealed earlier this year that he has donated a total of $10,000,000 of his wealth to support content producers and other members of the streaming community.
