Popular streamer Timothy Betar aka TimTheTatman has finally revealed his move to Complexity Gaming, after teasing on Twitter that he would be joining an esports organization.
TimTheTatman is one of the most well-known personalities in the game industry. Tim used to spend most of his time on Twitch, but he recently signed a deal with YouTube Gaming to become a full-time streamer, joining fellow streamers and friends such as Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm, Jack “CouRageJD” Dunlop, and Ben “DrLupo” Lupo.
Since Tim claimed he was going on vacation with 100 Thieves co-owners CouRage and Nadeshot, as well as his close friendship with FaZe Clan co-owner NICKMERCS, who he was hanging out with at the last MFAM BBQ in Florida, rumors about TimTheTatman joining an org have been flying. Then on September 19th, Tim teased an upcoming announcement on Twitter, confirming these claims. He then admitted to being a part-owner of Complexity Gaming.
After months of speculation, Tim has confirmed that he will be joining Complexity Gaming as a co-owner. Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite NFL football team, also owns Complexity. While Complexity strives to grow its reach in the gaming content creation industry, the head of the Tatman Army will facilitate collaborations with esports competitors, gaming influencers, professional athletes, and celebrities.
Tim stated in a press release; “Joining the Complexity team has been an amazing journey, I’ve followed Complexity’s success and I am impressed with their commitment to winning in top-tier esports and the loyalty of their fans.”
While Tim has friends in different organizations, his association with Complexity does not affect anything, he claimed on stream. He’s also stressed that there was no “runner up” option, and that once he met the individuals behind his new organization, he knew they were the right fit for him.
