A British competitive gaming culture brand, EXCEL ESPORTS has announced the introduction of the XL Community Cup, a new Fortnite competition in collaboration with HyperX and Beyond NRG.
The one-day event will take place on Sunday, November 28th, and will feature some of the top Fortnite pro, amateur, and influencer talent.
The XL Community Cup invites gamers to join forces in Duo mode to compete in open qualifiers on November 24th, with registration currently open.
On November 28th, those who qualify for the event will compete online against an all-star lineup to be proclaimed the winners.
Wolfiez and Verox, EXCEL’s pro-players, will be paired with some well-known figures from the sports and entertainment worlds. UK TikToker Ollie Ball, Streamer and Influencer TurntDaisy, as well as HyperX Ambassador and German Co Streamer Rewinside and fellow German Pro Fray, are among the high-profile visitors attending.
Adam Savage, an esports star, will present the tournament live from the Ginx TV London offices.
The XL Community Cup will also raise money for charity SpecialEffect, with the overall purpose of helping to support UK gamers and the ever-growing Fortnite community. SpecialEffect is a company that focuses on assisting physically disabled persons to enjoy the wonders of video games.
