With their upcoming CONQuest Festival, collegiate esports organization AcadArena and Coinbase hope to host the largest gathering of esports luminaries in Southeast Asia. The gathering is billed as a “Gaming x Pop Culture x Web3” event, and throughout CONQuest, various events centered around the three interests will be held.
The most compelling aspect of CONQuest Festival, however, is the list of attendees.
Convention attendees have the option to purchase “add-on tickets” for meet-and-greet opportunities with CONQuest’s celebrity guests in addition to their entry access tickets, and the list is an impressive collection of well-known figures in the industry.
Lilypichu, Kyedae, and Michael Reeves, Twitch streamers and content creators, are the event’s headliners. The Twitch stars have flown across the Pacific to meet and greet fans who might have this event as their only opportunity to personally meet their idols. Christian Banas (Thoma), Lilypichu (Sayu), Anne Yatco (Raiden Shogun), and Ratana were among the Genshin Impact voice actors who were invited by CONQuest to attend the event and meet fans (Yae Miko).
In addition, the event will host booths from other content producers, creatives, artists, merchants, cosplayers, gamers, and Web3 enthusiasts. It will also feature the LAN Esports Final of the collegiate league Alliance Games. Community panels and arcade games will be featured on the stage during the event, and we believe everyone attending will be able to use them for free.
The Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center in Manila, Philippines will host CONQuest Festival in 2022. The two days of the event will be July 23 and 24, 2022. Tickets can be found here.
