StrongLegs started competing in Counter-Strike 1.6 tournaments in 2016 and decided to focus on commentating and coaching instead at the end of 2017. In April 2018, he was voted in to be the next caster for MDL. From there, he went on to coach a couple of teams, and to take on other casting jobs. In November 2020, he announced that he would be retiring from CS:GO to pursue Valorant, as he was bored with the game. He then decided to rejoin the competitive side by joining Renegades pro-Valorant roster as the IGL in February 2021.
StrongLegs set up his Twitch account in July 2015 and was soon streaming consistently. However, he slowed down in 2018 when he decided to focus more on his casting career. He decided to return to the grind in January 2021 when he was hoping to attract a pro team.
