Gaming Origins
Lysium has been playing video games since childhood. As a teenager, he got more seriously into gaming, and was even part of Brunei’s competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 team at one point. He was also part of various Oceanic World of Warcraft raiding guilds over the years.
After high school, he went on to study at Loughborough University. He then went on to teach Information Technology to students in 10th-11th grade while completing his Master’s Degree in Teaching at the University of Brunei Darussalam.
Professional Gaming
He started streaming his Dauntless RPG content on Twitch in April 2018 and grinded almost daily from the onset. He also put a lot of money into advertising his stream of social networking platforms in order to encourage growth, as well as funding his own giveaways. His hard work paid off and he received Twitch partnership in August 2018. He was the first person in Brunei to accomplish this feat. He transitioned to GTA V content in late 2019.
Income
According to Lysium’s Twitch overlay, he has over 13,000 subscribers. As he regularly attracts over 10,000 viewers to his streams, he should be earning at least $45,500 USD each month. This is before taking in to account the extra revenue he generates from tiered subscribers, sponsorships, Twitch cheer bit donations, advertisements and tips.
