Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov, a former captain of NAVI, has been absent from the competitive CS:GO scene for almost two months at this point. Although he had mentioned continuing his esports career, nothing significant has happened in that regard so far.

Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev was spotted hanging out with the 24-year-old during a recent twitch stream by well-known Russian rapper Morgenshtern as they discussed a variety of subjects, including the future of Boombl4.

Being a former teammate and one of the top CS:GO players in the world, s1mple’s comments undoubtedly carry a lot of weight and significance, particularly in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) region.

Boombl4 has been preoccupied dealing with certain things that have distracted him from concentrating on his career in esports and CS:GO ever since his contentious divorce from Angelika “LiQueen” Mikhailova. After his ex-wife shared a video of him allegedly taking the drug mephedrone and accused him of using drugs. The 23-year-old made the decision to go to court and sue her for defamation, sharing a drug test as evidence of his innocence.

Boombl4 had made mention of his desire to carry on playing competitive CS:GO in a previous statement about his future. If given the chance, he would play the game without losing his composure.

Although no team has expressed interest in signing him thus far, Boombl4 may have his best chance of being selected now that the summer player break is underway and many rosters are looking to change.

Straight as an arrow and without using any jargon, he spoke about his future.

Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev has represented NAVI in two CS:GO competitions since Boombl4 left; whether or not the Ukrainian organization signs him as a permanent player is still up in the air.
