Youtube content creator and also known as a minecraft streamer, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, better known online as PewDiePie has now shared his thoughts regarding Minecraft youtube Dream’s speedrun cheating scandal and explaining how the controversy could be avoided. Youtuber Dream has come under fire in the past recent months after he admitted to cheating on his impressive minecraft speedruns especially during his record-breaking Minecraft speedrun in 2020. He explained why he only decided to apologize now after months of denying claiming he had increased drop rates enabled.

Now, YouTube’s biggest star PewDiePie reacted to Dream’s viral apology during his July 15th youtube video upload where he also explains why he found Dream’s behavior to be interesting and argued that the entire controversy could have been prevented. In the video with the title of “Top 10 streamers caught cheating”, Pewds reacted to the 10 biggest streamers who were caught cheating in gaming. The clip ranged from Call of Duty streamers to FaZe Jarvis’ infamous Fortnite ban.

Pewdiepie also gave his take on Dream’s controversy stating; “I think it’s interesting because Dream basically cheated in his speedrun in Minecraft. Even mathematicians who have nothing to do with Minecraft made videos on it. You do the math and realize there is no way he could have done it.” Pewdiepie then argued that Dream could have avoided the entire drama as he suggests that Dream could have admitted the cheating right away.

He concluded his reaction by criticizing cheating in gaming as he added; “It just takes out all the fun in the game. How badly do you want people to think you are good? I don’t get it”, he said, before joking; “From now on if someone kills me online, I’ll just assume you are cheating.” After Pewdiepie’s youtube video was uploaded on July 15th, PewDiePie started trending on Twitter as it seems like Dream’s fans became upset by Kjellberg’s commentary on the Minecraft star and accused him of talking about Dream just to get views.

Youtuber Dream also responded to Pewds’ video with a joke on his twitter post as he wrote: “Starts with me using PewDiePie for clickbait and ends with him using me for clickbait POG. the circle of youtube”, and followed up by another tweet stating; “No hard feelings to pewds either people are upset on my behalf, it’s all cool.”
