On May 13, the Overwatch 2 beta received an update that added Mercy’s ability to “super jump” insanely high into the sky, and players are loving it.

The Overwatch 2 beta is live, and players have been trying out all-new interactions with 5 vs 5 play and the new hero, Sojourn.

The Overwatch 2 developers released an update for the beta on May 13th that included a number of changes, one of which was a major overhaul of popular support hero Mercy.

Mercy can complete her jump by canceling her Guardian Angel by crouching, which sends her skyward. The jump was previously possible, but the OW 2 developers have now made it easier to execute so that you can reach incredible heights.

Mercy players were astounded by how far the support hero has progressed in such a short time.

The changes in the comment section were greeted with joy by fellow OW 2 players.

Mercy will be able to dodge incoming fire in an instant and stay alive longer in fights thanks to the new jump height because the game is still in beta, the super jump may change before the game’s official release. Overwatch players are currently having a blast leaping around with Mercy.
