xQc started to rant about Artesian Builds during a recent Minecraft stream, and while what they did was not widely supported, people only joined the bandwagon because it was necessary.

Streamer organization OTK, many of whose members were sponsored by Artesian Builds, came under fire when Felix specifically mentioned people who were sponsored by the company.

During a recent Minecraft stream, xQc didn’t hold back. He referred to Artesian Builds and emphasized the most recent event that ultimately led to the company’s demise. That’s the series of events that got started when the business declined to give a PC giveaway winner.

It wasn’t the company’s first dubious deal, xQc noted; rather, it was just the first that the public focused on. Another instance was when Kristofer Yee claimed the business was purposefully delaying its builds because they were sponsored by Artesian Builds, the streamer claimed, people were simply willing to overlook their extremely shady business practices. Members of OTK who owned Artesian Builds PCs were some of the first to speak out about them.

People that the company-sponsored were allegedly aware of the shady dealings going on behind closed doors, but they were okay with just pocketing the cash as long as nothing was made public.

However, some people on social media believe xQc is acting rather hypocritically by discussing shady dealings while still being connected to Stake. The fact that he also has a dubious business relationship in the form of the online gambling platform Stake was probably the topic of conversation on the LivestreamFails subreddit the most. On their website, he openly bets, and he also has an affiliate link where he has allegedly made a fortune.

Although xQc would later clarify that this was not the case, it appeared that OTK was the target of his rant. Many people are not persuaded and are fairly certain that the streamer simply dislikes the content-creating group.

One Redditor pointed out that xQc has other shady business partners besides Stake. Additionally, GFuel, who recently let go a number of workers for allegedly complaining to HR, sponsors him. During a team call, a higher-up is said to have used slurs and insults; when HR was contacted, GFuel terminated all of those workers.

This rant actually began because of Greekgodx, as has been mentioned by a number of people. Because Felix is friends with Greekgodx, the streamer who was recently banned from Twitch for a particularly sexist tirade targeted OTK and Mizkif in his tirade.

It’s impossible to predict whether this rant by xQc will escalate into something bigger, but it’s obvious that not everyone is convinced about the initial cause. Some believe it is to help Greekgodx, while others simply find it offensive and hypocritical given the sponsors of the Canadian streamer.
