Getting kills in Call of Duty: Warzone isn’t that easy, but there is a cheap way to do it. Twitch streamer OPMarked demonstrated the simplest, fastest, and possibly stupidest way to easily break a PR.
In the standard Warzone lobby, there are 150 players, and by the time that number drops to 120, Verdansk has been ravaged by bloodshed. OPMarked, on the other hand, is a seasoned player who has figured out how to take advantage of the early-game chaos. This method necessitates a combination of skill and luck, with him weighing heavily in favor of the latter. All you really need is a crowded lobby to distract you.
Taking advantage of players who are AFK can result in quick kills and many Warzone players are aware of that. When you combine that strategy with a helicopter, as OPMarked shows, you can get off to a PR (personal record) start.
In his video, OPMarked gets the chopper while there are about 127 players left in the lobby, which is a reasonable number given how far away he appears to be from the circle.
Then he swoops toward the plane’s initial drop flight path, where he discovers a large group of players who aren’t playing for whatever reason. OPMarked has secured… 13 kills in a matter of moments, as only a few of the players realize they’re in the game.
The average K/D (kill-to-death ratio) in Warzone is around 1.0, so getting double-digit kills before the game is even halfway over, let alone before you’ve been hit with a bullet, is insane.
Of course, this method is heavily based on luck, and not every match can be guaranteed. With 150 players and no ranked mode, it’s easy for some players to become distracted and miss their drop and the skill requirements are straightforward: you must be able to get to a helicopter quickly. Many of Verdansk’s best players have mastered chopper drops, so it takes practice. While you can normally get kills by dropping in on AFK players, the quickest way is to use some helicopter blades.
