LilyPichu recently admitted that once she entered Genshin Impact, there was almost no turning back once she fell into the gacha rabbit hole.
In regards to Genshin Impact, it turns out that LilyPichu, a content creator, artist, and Twitch streamer turned YouTuber, is just like the rest of us. All of us yearn for the characters we don’t already have, and occasionally we may spend a little money on the Wish gacha system to increase our chances of adding more characters to our roster. Well, LilyPichu disclosed that she went above and beyond and ultimately spent all of the voice acting earnings she received from portraying Sayu in the game.
LilyPichu discussed her in-game spending habits in-depth on a recent episode of the entertaining Trash Taste Podcast, which is hosted by the YouTubers Garnt (Gigguk), Joey (TheAnimeMan), and Connor (CDawgVA). She claims that she hadn’t played the game before being cast as Sayu in the episode, but that quickly changed around the hour mark.
When Connor asks LilyPichu how much she’s ever spent on a gacha game, LilyPichu responds that she basically paid back the money they paid her because she spent more than they paid her to voice the game.
Even though the conversation is lighthearted, the co-hosts laugh as they discuss this unexpected revelation.
