A popular Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) streamer, Krutika Ojha known as Krutika Plays, has announced that her YouTube channel has been terminated.
She is a well-known figure in the community, with over 249K subscribers and an aggregate view count of over 16 million. Aside from the battle royale game, she also broadcasts a couple PC games on a regular basis. The popular BGMI broadcaster used Instagram to send out a series of posts to her viewers informing them of the channel’s termination.
Due to a violation of YouTube’s policy against adult content, Krutika Plays’ channel was removed on October 21, 2021. In her Instagram story, she said the following: “I received an email today notifying me that my channel has been terminated due to a violation of YouTube’s rules and regulations.”
She then went on to say that the suspension was for the following reasons: “So, I was live-streaming on my channel yesterday while reviewing memes on my Discord server when someone posted something obscene, which was broadcasted on my stream. I made the video private right away, but if I had that knowledge that I needed to delete it, I would have done so. Nothing transpired yesterday, but today I got an email notifying me that the channel has been deleted.”
The BGMI broadcaster has also tweeted, requesting assistance from YouTube and YouTube India in order to reclaim her channel. She stated in the tweets that the footage that was accidentally played on the stream was unintended and that she had immediately taken the video private.
Krutika was a professional player of PUBG Mobile before it was banned in India. She competed for Team ARC, which advanced to the PMIS 2020 quarter-finals, where she was the only female competitor. She also recently started working as a content creator at 8Bit Creatives.
