MMO pro Zack “Asmongold” took a break from working on Lost Ark to discuss what he thinks is wrong with World of Warcraft right now.

There’s no denying that Asmongold is the man to talk to when it comes to MMO RPGs. Fans were ecstatic to learn that he co-founded the esports and entertainment organization One True King (OTK) with “Esfand” and Matthew “Mizif” Rinaudo, who gained fame playing the massive multiplayer WoW, and his popularity boosted player numbers for Final Fantasy XIV.

Nobody can deny that Asmongold is an expert on World of Warcraft. The streamer, on the other hand, hasn’t spent much time with the MMO recently. As a result, the MMO pro has taken to YouTube to explain what his current ‘biggest problem’ with the game is.

Asmongold explained on February 21 that because he wasn’t streaming that day, he decided to use his free time to make a YouTube video explaining what the “biggest problem” with WoW right now is.

The biggest issue Asmongold has with the MMO is that the majority of systems that players will progress through “will not be fully account wide” in the game’s new patch.

This means that a player’s achievements, companions, and mounts in the game may not be accessible or collectible through their alternate character, and that a player may have to repeat the process. Asmongold has stated that he rarely wants to play these systems “at all,” let alone more than once.

Despite being a long-time fan of World of Warcraft, he has had his share of issues with the game and its community. However, he appears to have recently turned his attention to Raiders of the Lost Ark, for which he even returned to his main Twitch channel to stream his first playthrough.

Asmongold stated in his YouTube video that he enjoys a variety of WoW systems in general. However, he wasn’t keen on playing them multiple times because “it’s boring” and “not fun.” Asmongold also invited his fans to comment on his viewpoints, and a number of them appeared to agree.

Asmongold concluded his video, he stated that the “number of systems that the game has had, nowadays, makes it so daunting for a player to actually want to play another character.”
