One of the fastest-growing YouTube content producers is IShowSpeed, he has been involved in a number of controversies.

IShowSpeed was indefinitely suspended from Twitch, an Amazon-owned livestreaming platform, and permanently switched to streaming and creating content on YouTube, where he quickly racked up eight million subscribers.

He who enjoys a large following online is arguably one of the most contentious streamers. His extraordinary persona and the viewpoints he expresses during his broadcasts are to blame for his swift rise to fame. Along with other games, Speed is well known for playing NBA 2K, FIFA, and Fortnite Battle Royale.

In December 2021, Speed made an appearance on Twitch streamer Adin Ross‘ channel, which was one of the key events that caused him to go viral online. He put the following query to Ash Kaash, one of the female content producers. Ash Kaash’s remarks were heard by Speed, who then made a number of contentious remarks.

Following the exchange, he announced his indefinite suspension from Twitch on his Twitter account on December 15.

IShowSpeed was expelled from Valorant earlier this year on April 7 after engaging in a violent and misogynistic tirade against female players. When the video went viral, a Riot Games game producer replied to the tweet and confirmed that she had permanently barred IShowSpeed from Valorant and all other Riot Games titles.

Later on that day, in response to the uproar, he expressed regret for his behavior. The social media platform’s apology video gained 75k likes and more than 2.9 million views before going viral.

A recent controversy that helped iShowSpeed’s popularity soar involved him setting off a Pikachu-themed firework inside his room. The incident happened on July 4 and more than 4.4 million people watched the livestream.

IShowSpeed lit a firecracker on top of an explosives-filled carton at the 45-minute mark, which caused his room to fill with fire sparkles and smoke.

The YouTuber’s mother had to resort to calling the fire department due to the gravity of the situation, and the livestream was abruptly cut short after some firefighters arrived.

With more than 9.46 million subscribers and 646 million channel views at the time of writing, IShowSpeed was ranked as the 242nd most popular YouTube channel in North America.
