There aren’t many Twitch streamers who can claim to have a million followers. As a result, when Spanish streamer Ibai became the seventh and third Spanish streamer to reach 10 million followers, it was a momentous occasion worthy of fan celebration.

Ibai began his gaming career as a League of Legends caster for the LVP before making the switch to streaming, where his career took off. Since then, Ibai has become one of the most popular streamers on the platform, as well as a co-owner of the esports team KOI.

With 10 million followers, Ibai is within striking distance of Shroud, who ranks sixth all-time on Twitch with 10.04 million.

Ibai follows in the footsteps of Auronplay and Rubius, who have 12.5 and 11.7 Twitch followers, respectively, and are second and third all-time in Twitch follower count.

Ibai is third among all Spanish streamers in terms of followers, but he is second in terms of concurrent viewers, with an average of over 80,000. This average viewership also places him fourth in the world in this category, while Auronplay is second.

As Ibai joins his fellow Spanish Twitch streamers in the 10 million follower club, it’s a sign that Spanish-language Twitch streams are on the verge of a major breakthrough as they continue to rule the global streaming platform.

TheGrefG, a streamer and YouTuber from Spain, is the next closest to the 10 million follower mark, with 9.8 million Twitch followers and 17 million YouTube subscribers.
