Twitch streamer Dimitri Antonato AKA Greekgodx has criticized Twitch streamers who incorporate gambling into their content, calling the practice disgusting.
Twitch stars xQc and Trainwreck are two streamers who have angered many people with their gambling livestreams. Numerous producers and viewers have issued warnings about how it not only feeds their own addictions but also has an impact on young and impressionable viewers.
Unsurprisingly, the subject has generated controversy within the community, with many streamers calling for the ban of the channels. However, Twitch streamer Greekgodx has also experienced harsh criticism for his comments and has been repeatedly banned from the site.
Greekgodx himself has occasionally gambled while watching streams. He asserts that he would need to be desperate to visit the slots once more.
On August 22, Greekgodx made a rare appearance and was questioned by his viewers about why he doesn’t interact with other Twitch streamers much. He asserted that they all do sh*t, including gambling, that he doesn’t want to be involved with.
When asked if he would gamble on stream again, he replied in the negative. He didn’t want to completely rule out gambling, though. However, he claimed that picking it back up right now makes him feel disgusting.
However, he was certain of one thing: he didn’t want to associate with gambling degenerates.
He made these remarks after a heated 90-minute argument on Twitch between himself and xQc ended in blows. During which Greekgodx criticized the Twitch star for being forced to stream daily from his room despite having made so much money.
The future of Greek gambling is still up in the air. He probably won’t appear on xQc’s livestream again anytime soon, though.
