Pokimane is one of the most popular content producers on Twitch, and tens of thousands of viewers watch her gaming and variety livestreams every day. She frequently works with other content producers as well, most recently collaborating with Jakenbake to create an IRL vlog series in Korea.

Pokimane’s experience on Twitch hasn’t been entirely trouble-free. The streamer has previously been involved in a number of different disputes. For instance, the streamer made a joke about the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial as a meme that angered many of her followers. But given her fame, it’s safe to say that the streamer’s biggest supporters have remained steadfast in their support.

Fans were disappointed by Pokimane’s announcement in July that she would be taking a break from Twitch streaming for an unspecified period of time to perform a mental reset, but many viewers and other streamers respected her decision to take a break. She explained that she was already anticipating her eventual return, which probably helped this reaction.

The news that she might return to Twitch soon, according to an update by Pokimane, has fans in a frenzy.

Pokimane informed her followers of her predicament via a tweet on August 22, more than a month after her break started. Pokimane thanked her supporters and said, that her new stream room isn’t finished yet, so she will announce a return-to-stream date soon. Regular viewers are aware that Pokimane recently moved apartments following her trip to Korea and that she appears to still be setting everything up.

When viewers caught a glimpse of her working setup last month, they immediately made fun of the fact that it resembled her earlier setup. For instance, someone made a joke about how the new setup resembled the old one in the comments section of Pokimane’s most recent tweet. Half of my stuff broke during my move, Pokimane wrote in response to the meme, but she also promised that this time it really will look different.

Long-time viewers will be aware that Pokimane’s streaming setup has previously drawn criticism, with YouTuber PewDiePie even taking the time to roast Pokimane’s equipment for, among other things, having visible cables.

Fans of Pokimane will have to wait until she resumes streaming to find out whether the wait was worthwhile for her new setup. Fortunately for those followers, it appears that she will be streaming soon.
