As a result of his remarks regarding how women are treated going viral on the internet and having an impact on young people, Andrew Tate has recently found himself at the center of controversy.

Andrew Tate had a sizable TikTok following in addition to a popular YouTube channel, with the hashtag Andrew Tate on TikTok boasting billions of views. He hasn’t been active lately on his social media platforms due to the recent bans on his Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts. One of the ways his followers have been watching him is through Tate’s Twitch account. Eyes have turned to his Twitch account to see if Twitch has followed suit since most of his other options for getting his message out to the public have been shut down. Is Andrew Tate’s Twitch prohibited then?

Although Andrew Tate has not yet received a Twitch ban as of the time of this writing, that does not appear to have stopped the man from purportedly deleting his Twitch account. Tate could not appear on any other Twitch channel for fear of suffering the same fate, so it is very likely that his deletion was done to get around Twitch’s policies. Tate’s channel TateSpeech was likely to be banned. This is probably a ruse to keep partners happy because Andrew Tate is a contentious personality and has been known to appear as a guest on several Twitch channels.

This does not imply that Twitch won’t nonetheless ban him because the company has received criticism for not doing so already.

This is unquestionably an important point; if Tate is not suspended from Twitch, he can continue to broadcast the same views that led to his suspensions in the first place on various Twitch channels. When streamers engage in actions that are against their code of conduct, like nudity or hate speech, Twitch typically has no problem banning them. Tate’s frequent controversies appear to involve hateful speech, so it should fall under the latter category.

We’ll have to wait and see what Twitch does because the Tate bans have been falling like dominoes.

Perhaps Tate will launch his own illicit radio station from his residence in Romania, negating the need for anyone to follow him on social media—not that they could, given that he is blocked on the majority of them already.
