Nicholas “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff has spoken out against Artesian Builds after the company was chastised for not honoring its prize giveaway. After a small, up-and-coming streamer was denied a PC from the giveaway despite winning fairly and squarely, the company took action.

NICKMERCS has risen through the ranks of Twitch’s most prominent figures thanks to his incredible success with FaZe Clan and his generosity to his fans. He may have avoided Twitch’s TV meta, but that has had no effect on his popularity, as he continues to have success with games like Apex Legends

It’s no surprise that Artesian Builds, a custom PC builder, was overjoyed to announce NICKMERCS as a business partner.

However, the FaZe Clan co-owner has now joined a number of his fellow streamers in criticizing Artesian for excluding “Kiapiaa,” a lesser-known content creator, from a recent prize giveaway. Despite being the official winner, the streamer claimed that Artesian not only refused to send her a new PC but also slammed her Twitch channel.

Twitch streamers “Protezee” and “strwberrymoogle,” like Kiapiaa, accused the company of discriminating against smaller streamers and were outraged by the company’s treatment of them and their community.

According to the PC builder’s website, NICKMERCS is one of a number of well-known figures who have partnered with Artesian Builds, including popular streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo and esports and entertainment organization One True King (OTK). NICKMERCS echoed the criticism of his fellow Twitch streamers in slamming Artesian in response to the claims.

Artesian Builds has since issued a series of tweets apologizing for the stream, as well as a personal video from Katz, in which he admits that he should not have “glossed over” smaller streamers.
