Fortnite has launched FNCS 2022. The contest is already generating media attention as gamers rush to compete for the prized Axe of Champions. The FNCS LAN event would return to its in-person format and be held in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, as Epic announced earlier this year.

The stream will begin on July 10, 2022, even though the event has already begun. The event will be streamed live on several streaming services thanks to a partnership between Epic Games and a Danish esports entertainment company, BLAST.

Up until August 13th and 14th, the broadcast will cover the FNCS qualifiers, semifinals, and championship games. This season, European and North American servers will receive the majority of coverage from the English broadcasts. Japanese and Portuguese are additional broadcast languages. As always, watch.fortnite.com will stream the FNCS live.

For those who are unaware, Epic Games annually hosts the Fortnite Competitive Series (FNCS), an esports event. It gathers the top players from around the world and pits them against one another in a titanic struggle for a prize pool of $3,000,000 and an exclusive commemorative pickaxe (Axe of Champions).

The FNCS consists of three qualifying rounds, a semi-final round, and a championship round. In addition to these, there are numerous other events, including Cash Cups and Cash Cups for Zero Build Trios. The ladder system is used in the FNCS, as it is in many other esports events. The top teams from each round advance to the following one, and so on, until only a few competitors from each region are left.

The full calendar for FNCS 2022:

FNCS Semi-Finals: July 22–July 24.

FNCS Finals: August 13–August 14.

Qualifier 1: July 8–10; Qualifier 2: July 11, July 13–15; and Qualifier 3: July 16–17.

Players must fulfill the necessary requirements and advance through Fortnite Arena’s Champion League to be eligible for FNCS qualifiers. There are four rounds in this qualifier, and the number of participants decreases with each round. The top five teams after round four will advance directly to the FNCS finals.

Along with qualifiers, Epic also organizes cups for particular consoles. On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, a PlayStation cup that is only available on the console will begin. A number of Hype Cups will start on July 18, 2022, and the Trios Zero-Build Cash Cup will begin on Friday, July 15, 2022. For more information, interested players can go to the official website of Epic Games.

There are numerous channels available in Fortnite where viewers can watch a livestream of FNCS 2022. Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, and Fortnite’s website all offer live English coverage for EU and NA servers (watch.fortnite.com). On July 10, 2022, the stream will begin at 6 p.m. EDT for North America and 1 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CET for Europe. Another option offered by Epic is “watch in-game.”

In Creative mode, players can drop by Landing Legends. You can find this specific map using the search option and the code 3303-7480-5925 or the discovery mode. In addition, Epic provides a clean feed link for people who want to host their own viewing event.
