Emily “Emiru” was seen looking enraged during a recent livestream after receiving a message through her Twitch chat. One of the streamer’s ethnicity was called into question by a viewer, who was taken aback. Several other viewers in her Twitch chat were astounded to hear the person’s question.

The streamer said the following phrase in complete disbelief after reiterating the viewer’s strange question.

After attending the well-received awards show hosted by fellow Twitch streamer Blaire “QTCinderella,” Emiru began her daily livestream.

She loaded up one of Daily Dose of Internet’s most recent videos in response to videos sent to her by viewers on her Twitch channel. The streamer noticed a message in her Twitch chat after mentioning how good the host looked in real life and planning to meet him soon.

The message was read aloud to her viewers by the streamer and as she was taken aback by the viewer’s awkward question, she responded sternly that she is an Asian. She unpaused the video for two seconds before pausing it again, attempting to provide a more concrete response to the viewer’s question by stating that she looks Asian because she is.

After responding to the inconsiderate message from the viewer, the streamer drank some water to relax.

Hateful messages of this nature have previously been directed at the newest OTK member. Another viewer on her Twitch chat commented in January 2022 that she didn’t “sound Asian,” but she responded in Mandarin, shutting down the viewer’s comments.

Viewers and fans mocked the viewer’s question. On other social media platforms, people shared their experiences with an ongoing trend.

The 24-year-old American streamer is one of One True King‘s (OTK) newest members, having joined in January 2022. She’s a well-known cosplayer and costume designer.
