Popular YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has expressed his thoughts surrounding the new Warzone Pacific map reveal and he seems to be impressed as he stated that the design appears to have been inspired by PUBG map.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will officially release on November 5, 2021 for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. This means CoD fans won’t have to wait long before they can dive back into the brutal battlefields of WW2. While the triple-A title is scheduled to release on November 5, Raven Software is yet to reveal the exact date that the integration with Warzone will take place.
However, in the official Vanguard Multiplayer reveal video, the devs did give the community their first look at the Pacific map. Many streamers and content creators across platforms have watched the showcase including the popular Dr Disrespect.
Dr Disrespect only got round to watching it a day later and finally gave his opinion on the Pacific map. During his September 8th live broadcast, the Doc reacted to the new Pacific map reveal. While he was visibly excited and was impressed with the tropical theme of the Pacific map. Doc even celebrated when the Creative Director revealed that they were moving on from Verdansk to the new location. However, despite loving the lush environments of the new map, Doc seemingly noticed some similarities to another BR title, PUBG.
It seems like Doc is referring to the Sanhok map in PUBG that was released back in 2018, which also shares a tropical theme. Here’s what he stated; “Yes, please let’s get the hell out of that map. Nice, I like this, definitely feels like a PUBG map though.”
