With a YouTube stream this Tuesday centered on “Day Zero” of his long-teased futuristic battle royale, Dr Disrespect is finally set to reveal the first title from his new gaming studio, Midnight Society.

On Tuesday, March 15th, at 12 p.m. CT, the fast-approaching #DayZero stream will begin. The big reveal has been dubbed a “Arena Takeover” by Dr Disrespect.

In the lead-up to the reveal, both the two-time and his studio’s Twitter account, Midnight Society, have been tweeting about it. Since yesterday, the game’s main account has been sharing timer countdowns, as well as links to a Discord lobby and strings of core code for the upcoming title.

Aside from the genre and some early hints, little is known about the upcoming Midnight Society game. Fans of Dr. Disrespect have been busy piecing together clues through a long-running ARG on Discord, uncovering references to “Claws,” “Variants,” high-stakes gun battles, futuristic tech, and more.

Multiple weapons, such as the G36c, V7 Sniper Rifle, Tax-X Machine Pistol, 6-IR Grenade Launcher, K19 Marksman Rifle, X-1 Assault Rifle, and various ammo and equipment, are mentioned repeatedly in the ARG.

A text-based story adventure that players can participate in via the game’s Discord channels features both specific bullet types and “insured” guns.

These few elements suggest that the new game was inspired by some of Doc’s favorite games, such as Escape from Tarkov and Warzone.

Several major features of The Doc’s upcoming battle royale game have already been confirmed. The game will be a “competitive, focused PVP shooter” built in Unreal Engine 5, according to the streamer. Aside from that, the former Call of Duty map designer has kept most details under wraps.

Several teasers have recently appeared on the star’s YouTube channels. There are futuristic maps among them. “I want to make a vertical battle royale,” Dr Disrespect said.

One of Dr Disrespect’s big promises for his first game is that players will be involved from the start. According to the Midnight Society website, they will turn the traditional development model on its head and embrace the Day Zero Community, and they will no longer say that they hope the game is good.

In Tuesday’s mysterious stream, expect to learn a lot more about Midnight Society’s upcoming battle royale. Interested fans can request an invite to the Discord server right here.
